I drew this at work for a client who liked it but decided to go another way. I liked it too, so since he’s otherwise homeless I’m putting him here.
I don’t often sketch completely new art for clients at work; generally they either have their own logos, or they want something logoish built that doesn’t require drawing. For some reason, though, and my D&D buddies can attest to this because that’s where I do it, whenever I am drawing for work ninety percent of the time it’s animals. I’ve done rabbits running marathons, giant anthropomorphic chickens tying their shoes, sharks wearing swim goggles, and now a Holmesian German shepherd with a magnifying glass. Just something weird I’ve noticed over the years.
